I just recovered from a hamstring injury (which made me unable to run for 5-6 months) this year around March. Was able to get back to sprinting this June...and just yesterday after my sprints- i felt exact pain again on the exact spot. Oh my god i couldnt believe it at first but when i started to jog or walk or flex the muscles there is this pain that wont go away. The pain is always felt at the top of my hamstrings- uh just under my butt? I pointed the spot on the picture. Okay..so i need some help here can you please tell me how long it is going to take to recover again? And- i dont know how to stretch that part of my hamstring? What kind of stretches can i use? And i found out that whenever i stretch my hamstrings the stretch is felt at the bottom of my hamstrings(near the knees)- the middle- but never at the top.

okay...but whenever i stretch it....the pain just becomes stronger. Like lets say i rested for the day- and wake up tomorrow. My legs feel okay...but you can feel that theres something not right in it. And when i stretch/run it it gets more pain. Yeah..

I recently bought the new game "Legend of the Crystal Skull"- and upon installing it- I found that I have the same problem I had last time--the text is all blocky- and there s a black square around the cursor. However- I can t remember what I did last time to get rid of this problem.

At the minute I have a daytime light which is a EuroRep 100w (http://www.petzoo.co.uk/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=73&products_id=469) and I have it connected to a thermostat. This works brilliantly but I am slightly worried about the night-time temperature because at the minute I have a Red EuroRep 60w Night Light but apparently bearded dragons sleep better without the light.
Should I replace this light with a ceramic heat lamp? And if so which one. The tank is 4ft and has the heat lamp on the right hand side and the night light on the left.
Please help me out and let me know asap! Thanks
I have considered removing the daytime light as well as the night-time light and just using one ceramic light and using it all on one thermostat. Is this a good idea? And also- if I get rid of the daylight the tank won t be as bright inside as the ceramic heat light doesn t give off light..

What is the best card that I can get for my money - I just want to play some decent 3D games - but I don t know if I need a 512MB card- (or even if it will be any use to me).

I m trying to understand the inners of web languages as RoR and PHP- and i still don t get something: I know RoR is an interpreted language- so when i have some code- the web server should receive the request and pass it to the Ruby interpreter (or YARV- the virtual machine). From there the code is validated and executed directly... i suppose.

In the case of PHP i still don t get if it is an interpreted language or not. Being developed in C- i wonder how PHP evaluates code and returns a result from a web request. I suppose that there may be some class in PHP s engine in charge of this?- if it exists- what is this class?- how does it work? is there a compiler involved?- how does this compiler works?

I am looking for my second horse- my first died of cancer a few years ago.We were very new to the horse world when we bought our first horse- so we want to do this right.

I found a 15 year old horse-and the ad said it had a little athritis- but yet it could still jump up to 2 .And it said it was a lesson horse- and ridden almost evry day.I went to their ranch website and it said the horse just needed some joint suplements to keep athritis in check.link:

I never liked Coach purses- but I thought I d give it a chance. Is there a way to replace a submit button with javascript without having to uniquely name each function- or name my forms? I m just looking for a link replacement for the submit button. I am against corperate welfare- but you probably have a broader definition of "corperate welfare" than I do. Sometimes it is appropriate to give companies tax breaks. I recently bought a Canon Powershot SX100IS digital camera- and all the picture I took on it look "wiped out"- with the colors not being vivid- and with the sky and other light objects coming up white. Like if the sky is light blue- it will come out nearly white. And if someone has white hair with light grey streaks- the hair in the photograph looks completely white with barely there grey. It s like someone sprays translucent white paint all over my pictures. everything has a hint of white! I take pictures on auto- I didn t change any of the manual settings. Any help here? Sample picture included. In the picture- the sky is white- even though it was light blue in real life.

Yesteryday my computer was fine- today I turn it on and see these Diagonal lines- there are five of them and they re made up of four smaller lines close together. My mouse is almost completely invisible except for 3 small white dots.

I am a software engineer developing my own computer program. As part of the security system for the software I need the program to send me an e-mail via Telnet (CMD) and have been using various servers so far but my IP has been blocked.

I am wondering if there are any dedicated Telnet servers which will allow a (non spam) e-mail (sent to myself) to be sent reliably and without any technical hitches.

Or anything else that will work. Please do not reccomend anything other than Telnet (e.g php/wepages. I know Telnet is unreliable anyway due to spamming issues- but I got it working before my IP was blocked.)

My monitor is a 1280x1024 Dell LCD monitor about 2-3 years old. Recently I noticed a strange problem. There is a large- weak- darkened area on the monitor somewhat resembling an H . The area is filled with the inverse of whatever was displayed on the screen in the previous hour or so (kind of like burn-in). This is most noticeable on a dark gray background.

I know I want to become a web designer/developer- but I ve been curious about this career in case I get too much stressed with getting ideas of a design and etc- so I want to know what are the programs/software I must learn to become a DBA and always finds a job and have good salary.

I searched which college/university teach this course but so far I found nothing- so for now I m going to learn by reading books but I don t know how many programs/software a DBA need to know in order to always find a good job and have good salary.

i have created tree from xml file using java script and php- the name of the nodes are the (string that i want to search) same as to the search string- so- when some one click the node- how can i be able to search the clicked string against some other folder which contains subfolders and files which (it is so important)the file names is so long and include the path of the tree and include the nodes name??? example i have tree like

- How do you actually buy a Template. I know theres plenty of sites selling them- but how does it work. Can I just do a one off payment and then download the Template to host via FTP?

I have already performed a virus and spyware scan with Spy Sweeper Anti Spyware + Antivirus. It was a fullscan with the latest definitions and version. But I think it didnt remove this uber annoying screen-saver like virus. If the PC is idle for a while- it will show a screen-saver like thing with bugs eating away at the screen. And I can t change the desktop background- the tab containing that fucntion was actuaually removed.

hey im trying to create an adapter for memory stick pro duo

what im gonna do is create a housing of a memory stick pro duo with pins only to be attached to a micro sd card reader (i chose this because its small) . then on the usb port of the reader is a two sided female usb port which i can attach flash disks or any storage devices . . im doing this so i wont internally mod my psp. ill just pop in the memory stick housing to the psp then on a card reader there s a female usb port for me to attach storage devices and have MORE MEMORY YAY!! the problem is i dont know where to connect each pin.

Hey! Okay i m like in a panic mode & it s almost 2AM but hopefully i get answers soon. I m almost 16 and I m 5 6" or 5 7" and about 113 pounds. I don t exactly have a "models body" but I consider myself to be pretty tall and skinny. I ve done a little bit of modeling at my local mall- but it was nothing big. I loved it though and I love haveing my picture taken- wheather it s professionally done or I m just taking pictures with friends. Where I live there isn t anything besides Barbizon- but I m not sure what exactly that is and I don t think I would be interested in that. I m also not into the whole pageantry thing. i have a little bit longer than shoulder length thin hair and it has some natural curliness to it- but i hate the way it looks. i was wondering- with it being almost summer and all and the humidity making it all curly if there is anything else i can do besides straigtening it. i was thinking something on the lines of this..

I have a self image problem and i think im unattractive.

When a guy acts interested in me i act cold towards him because i think he is only going to end up rejecting me in the end.

For instance this guy has been calling me a lot and i called him to meet up and he couldnt and said- sorry is that ok? and i said yea it s fine- i dont care. He hasn t called since but the weird thing is im relieved because it means i wont have to spend 2 hours getting ready for the date.

Also when im dating a guy i usually start getting really angry at him because whenever i date a guy i think he wouldnt like me if he knew what i looked like naturally. When im dating a guy i start doing hardcore workouts at the gym 3 times a week (i run until i feel sick)- i go on a super healthy diet (no sugar- no junk food) and just obsess over my appearance. So i resent the guy because i feel like men are superficial and i have to do all that in order for him to like me.

Yesterday I cut my hair that I had been growing for as long as I can remember (with trims and stuff of course). It was a little past my butt. I cut off about a foot(maybe a tad more) and it now reaches upper/middle back- about 2 inches above my elbows + or -.

Question is- I had them cut it straight across and it looks pretty- but should I get it styled or do something pretty to it? I know this sounds like an obvious "yes"- but I have never been into that kind of stuff like layers and side bangs- though it is all hyped up at my school. I think I should get used to this new hair cut first then maybe consider highlights or something- tho my mom is not actually cooperating in that field. Any suggestions?

Hi-

I have crowded and crooked teeth and was wondering if I was able to get invisalign. I obviously could talk to an ortho- but I would like to ask people on here first because you may have answers.

The differences are that my cuspids are slightly more crooked than the ones on the above link- but the bottom teeth are roughly as crooked as above.

My front tooth is not sticking out as much as the case above- but it is overlapping the other one slightly.

I was never offered braces when I was under 18 because my bite was fine. I do not have crossbites or anything like that- it is just my front teeth in my lower and upper mouth that are very(?) crooked.

So finally I come to an answer:
Would I be able to get Invisalign or is my case too messed up? On their site it says that they can fix everything and since I dont have bite-issues and the only problem is crookedness does hope exist?

I have an iMac and an Xbox 360 Elite and two wireless controllers with it. I know you can connect the controllers to a mac if you get the wireless gaming receiver and a patch from http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver .

I have both- but my mac still won t see my controller. I m pretty sure the receiver and the controller are syncing because when i press the sync buttons they stop flashing. But in the preferences panel for the controllers it still says No devices found.

i have a form on my website. It has questions that users can respond to and submit. I am wondering how i can make this submit onto the same page it is located on so that others could see it. I would like it located along the side so others can scroll up and down along the side and view the different responses. I am NOT using php or an forum type program but simply doing it in notepad with code. any help would be appreciated.

Web Hosting- and another that I own with Blue Host. I am trying to create more airflow in my trunk to keep my amp cooled. It doesn t overheat- but it gets hot enough so it lowers the volume on my speakers and they sound really muffled (almost as if its lowering highs but mids/lows are staying the same).

I would like to find a way to cool it better. Is there a way i can create more airflow? Or how can I hook cooling fans up to it?

I m looking for any advice- really.

So I have the following problem:
I have a frameset in which every frame is a php file and i have to give them the variable $number.In the frameset i receive it by a form and set it to $number(it works fine if I call it using echo $number) and then in every frame i say
<frame src=file.php?number=$number name=frame> or something like that.It works fine on localhost but once it is on the net it gives problems.Any ideas?

now this is a bit confusing for me:

i have a search form which sends words searched for to a php script that executes the search in the mysql database. this works fine. now i have added user and password to that form- so the user- if they want to use the form- they will have to fill in three fields: username- password and search terms. works fine.

now i wish to do the following:

have the search form on my front page on the website- and when the user types the search criteria- they invoke another form asking for username and password. this should then invone the php script to process the search data. here- the action = must be of the $PHP_SELF type?

when i do an the if $_post[submit] in the php script- how can i both refer to submit from both forms? the one on the main page asking for search criteria and the other asking for username and password?

please think of it as a yahoo search. ok yahoo doesnt need a password- now what if it did. you search for "mysql" and then u are asked for username and password then after that you get the search results. my database isnt free thats why :-)

Is it just hype? Will Ruby on Rails break through as a major player in Web 2.0 (and I assume Web 3.0- whatever that is)?

Basically- is it worth learning? How does it rank with Python & Django?

I ask because I am on the fence as to which to learn. I am moving away from PHP and want to either learn Ruby on Rails or Python (which would be with Django). My main concerns are AJAX. Django seems to still have some issues but Ruby on Rails looks great... I just don t want to learn the language and 2 years down the line find it to be outdated.

I am trying to code the form in such a way that if the user does not enter a value into the username field- they will recieve a JS prompt asking them to fill in the details. I am trying to write a PHP script that retrieves information from another web page and then performs an action on it.

I am using the fopen function to open the web page. When I run the script on my local machine it works fine- however when I upload the script to my webhost the fopen function fails completly. The page wont even load. I have checked the php.ini file and allow_url_fopen is set to "on" so I can t see what the problem could be.

Any help is much appreciated.

I m trying to find some way or some line(s) of code so when a user prints a secure web page (a recipt)- the url is not displayed or hidden on the bottom of the printed document. There are client-side ways of doing this- but that wont work since I m wanting to do this server-side without medifying the directory structure already in place. Currently am using a simple javascript window.print() function- though can use more advanced javascript or PHP. If anyone could help me with this- or point me in the right direction- it would be much appriciated.

-Other possibility that I can think of off the top of my head would be some sort of PDF wrapper but it would be a lot of work just to test- and not sure if it d work right.
-Tried frames which didn t work.

It is interesting- quietly done- and very well timed IMO. His affiliation with Trinity has really hurt his campaign over the last 4 months. I am a experienced web programmer with basic language skills (HTML- CSS- javascript- etc.) I m starting to learn php and want to use an online MySQL database to store data.

I ve managed to setup a local MySQL database (after LOTS of work) and now I want to put it online. My question: Where would my MySQL database be stored- on my computer or on an external server?

For example- I host my sites with NAThosting - where I use a FTP program to upload files. Those files are then stored on their servers somewhere. My locals files have no influence on the pages until they re uploaded and then stored where ever. When I want to use a database- will that be stored on their computers/servers much like my HTML pages or will the server need to be permanently running on my home CPU?

I am Software engineer working on ASP- PHP and ASP.net. I have got 8 years of experience. Got offer from UAE company. What salary I can expect per month? I am from India and I don t know much about UAE. What are the benefits given? Is it very difficult to found the accomodation in Dubai and Sharjah? I am lady. Am I allowed to work? Is there any rules for ladies?

so now im trying to promote my self to get votes ie tyed adding people on myspace to vote for me and i have a modeling website which i acumulate alot of my votes.
